A new 8-die penny machine has been placed on-stage at Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter. This new machine is located inside Jackson Square Gifts & Desires. The 3-die penny machine that was located in this store that had a 100 Years of Wonder design with the character Tiana has been moved to the arcade South Quarter Games. The 3-die penny machine that was inside the arcade that had The Princess and The Frog designs has been removed and is now retired.

A new 8-die penny machine has been placed on-stage at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge inside Pumbaa's Fun & Games. The two 3-die penny machines that were at this location have been removed and are now retired.

At Pop Century Resort there was a 100 Years of Wonder penny that had the character Thor on the design. The die with this design was put on-stage the end of March 2023. About a month after this coin was available, we began hearing reports that there appeared to be something wrong with the die because the pennies being pressed were wavy. We are still researching this but somewhere a few months ago the die was replaced since the problem was corrected.

For the defective Thor design, we have assigned a catalog number of WDW23071b. Designs being pressed from the replacement die have been given the catalog number WDW23102. Since dies are computer engraved by a laser it's very doubtful to find any differences between the original die and it's replacement.

A New 8-die machine has been placed on-stage inside Fulton's General Store at Port Orleans Riverside. This new machine replaces the 3-die machine that was in this store that had designs with the Prince from Snow White, Jasmine and Steamboat Willie Mickey Mouse. April 22, 1998 Animal Kingdom was the fourth theme park to open at Disney's Walt Disney World. Three new pressed pennies have been placed on-stage at Animal Kingdom to celebrate this event. The three machines at Discovery Trading Company that recently each got one 100 Years of Wonder design now also have one new 25th Anniversary design.
